Wonderful - what a post. I love the ideas around filmmaking and Sarah Prosser in Bioregional Weavers in SE Ireland may wish to connect with the new extraordinary decentralised All Living Film Environmental Film Festival begun in India, that has a screening director partner in Kilkenny - Dungarvan Tasneem Kahn S.E.A school. It’s in its 2nd year, disclaimer- I’m an advisor for it here in SE Ireland.

And yes new storytelling is vital to shift to an ecological worldview as ecological thinker Thomas Berry concluded and who also contributed to the peoples Earth Charter, which without reinventing the wheel :) could provide a deeply evolved, globally accepted and already translated in to 65 languages, integrated holistic set of environmental, social, democracy and peace principles, for ecoliteracy/systems literacy. It is An extraordinary ethical framework and its global reach over 25 years, still slow when competing with dominant meta narratives of growth-at-all costs, is being commemorated at The Peace Palace at The Hague, Netherlands 1-3 July 2025. Although I expect many bioregional weavers are already aware of https://earthcharter.org as it is being co-hosted by Netherlands Earth Charter ?

Incredibly inspiring, Tijn, thank you for pulling this impressive summary together! Gives me hope in the resilience and creativity of the human spirit (amidst all the negativity we observe going on).
